| Members at WVBC believe deeply in the Great Commission and missions are a part of our life at Walnut Valley. We support two churches in the mission fields, Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mitchell, South Dakota and Baptist Church of Pared Blanco in Hidalgo, Mexico. We also believe there are mission opportunities in our own back yard, so we strive to meet the need of our neighbors through our ministry. |

An after school adventure for children ages Kindergarten through 2nd grade and 3rd grade through 6th grade. Not every child has an opportunity to be in God's house each week so we try to carry the gospel to these children in a new and different way. Terrific Tuesday consist of bible stories, games, crafts, helping with homework and of course SNACKS! |

| VBS is another
ministry of Walnut Valley. VBS is the largest outreach effort
each year. For one week out of the year in the summer we have
the pleasure of loving, teaching, and reaching over 100 children
each night. We dress the parts of our themes and our puppet
friends always visit us at this time. Our past themes have included...Fiesta, Holy Land Adventure, Glory land Express, Son Harvest County Fair, Amazon Outfitters, Truth Trackers, Ocean Odyssey, Star Quest, & Mt. Extreme. It is the highlight of our year! |

At Walnut Valley we believe fellowship among each other is vital! The early church met in fellowship often, a great example for us today. Fellowship with each other prompts and deepens relationships; thus brings unity into the body. We meet often through different events such as "Breaking Bread" (before each Business Meeting), Easter Dinner, Valentine's Banquet, Summer Picnic, Ice Cream Social, the Fall Festival at George's, our Annual Community Dinner at Thanksgiving, and many other events.

| The youth group at WVBC is a tight-knit group. Most have been attending church since they were in elementary school. We have 12 seniors graduating from high school this year. A senior dinner is planned and they will be recognized during a Sunday service. Other activities include: Movie Night, Canoe Trips, and regular get togethers. |
