Bro. Tim Forrest Bro. Tim Forrest, Pastor
Greetings in the name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I can't begin to share everything that God has done here at Walnut Valley; rather I am compelled to share with you that "HE'S" not finished.  May we be encouraged by the growth, both spiritual and physical that God has blessed us with.  By HIS love, we are drawn into God's family, and by HIS love, should serve each other and the community around us.
Walnut Valley, "THE HOUSE THAT LOVE BUILT" is more than a logo; it is a way of life.
In Christ's love, Bro. Tim

  Bro. Sam Beirig, Youth Minister
I Am Sam...I was born and raised in Tyler, TX to awesome parents.  I grew up a pretty normal kid except when I cut off both of my legs in a tragic tractor accident (naw, I'm just kiddin' that didn't actually happen to me, that was my Uncle Earl).   I loved football and even had a scholarship to play, but Jesus had a different plan for me and it was in my senior year He called me to preach.  I’ve had a sort of patchwork of odd and fun happenings since then.  I've served as a Discipleship Leader, a Youth Intern, and a Camp Counselor and I've even been on a couple of short-term mission trips.
Another most important event in my life; and of utmost importance is the fateful and destiny filled meeting of Miss Mallory Mae Nolen.  I met Mallory on a mission trip in the summer of 2005 and she has been following me ever since (just kidding).  Seriously, as God would have it she is now at Ouachita and we have been courting since that 2005 summer.  I look to put an end to this whole courting thing some day by asking her to marry me.  We are waiting on God's timing for that; but pray for us because it's like a million years until she graduates...or least that's how long it feels like to me.
In October 2007, I was called as the Youth Minister.  In May 2008, after I graduate from Ouachita Baptist, I will be on staff full time.
My goals for the youth at WVBC are simple.  I want to see as many authentic Disciples of Christ graduate out of WVBC as possible.  No matter their destinations, my desire for them is to go forth into all the world carrying the gospel and the light of Christ where ever He leads.
